Simultaneous Storytime
Date: Wednesday 27th May
Time: 12:00 noon
On Wednesday 27 May 2026 at 12.00 pm AEST, millions of children, parents, teachers, and library lovers across Australia and beyond will come together to read Luna Roo at the same time — celebrating the joy of reading, storytelling and connection. Published by Little Book Press the story follows the spirited kangaroo Luna and her friends as they chase their football dreams across the outback, blending action, teamwork and fun to inspire young readers. Luna Roo was selected from 84 submissions from publishers around the country.
Aboriginal Dance Workshop
Date: Wednesday, 3rd June 2026
Time: 9:30am-2:30pm
Exciting workshop coordinated by the NSW Department of Education's Arts Unit and mentored by the Brolga Dance Academy. There is a high-energy one-day workshop for primary students who identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
Spelling Bee
Date: Friday, 5th June 2026
Time: 10:00am
The Premier's Spelling Bee is an engaging way for NSW public primary school students to expand their vocabularies and improve their spelling. Designed for Stage 2 and 3, Stage 1 students are welcome to participate.
The program includes activities that encourage students to become more confident users of language through broadening their vocabulary, and promotes improved literacy skills in conjunction with the NSW English K to 10 syllabus.
Wellbeing Week
Date: Monday, 29th June 2026 - Friday, 3rd July 2026
Wellbeing Week at Red Range Public School is a highly anticipated, school-wide initiative focused on nurturing students' mental wellness, resilience, and personal growth.
